Join us at the Bristol Palestine Museum and Cultural Centre for an evening with Ian Wellens, author of The History of Palestine in Five Fruits.

Palestine’s story shakes and shapes our world, yet it is still often subject to myth and misconception. In this beautifully illustrated book, Ian Wellens offers a stripped-down account of what has brought Palestine to where it is today, keeping the country and its people at the centre. Through the five fruits of the title, the book invites us to zoom in on places, histories and ideas — telling a story of Palestine through land, memory, resistance and what people grow.

The evening will include a talk by the author, a Q&A with the audience, and a book signing. Books will be available to purchase at the event (£10 each).
